Sports Gaming on Facebook for Android and iOS Users

It has been confirmed that Facebook will launch several fantasy sports games in the USA and Canada. They will be available both on Android and iOS. The first of them is the sports prediction game Pick and Play Sports. It was created in collaboration with Whistle Sports and released for free. All of the games are simple to play and have quite similar gameplay. In a few months, Facebook is going to add some other games. They will be combined with TV shows, and two of them are CBS’s Survivor and ABC’s The Bachelorette.

The idea of such games is to predict the winner and get points if you were right. In case you make correct predictions several days in a row, you will get additional points. You will also be able to make leagues with your friends and compete with other players. These teams can be private or public, so you can actually create a league with anyone you want and share your reactions and comments during the game. 

Sports prediction games are not the only type of games that Facebook will offer. Users will also be able to try the sports leagues such as Major League Baseball and LaLiga Santander. Moreover, Facebook will release a digital publisher like BuzzFeed. Players will be able to choose a set of Castaways each month and get points by answering the questions about the forthcoming episode. 

Facebook decided to add sports games to allow fans to play together and enjoy the games in virtual reality. They are simply designed, so people who haven’t played prediction games before can easily learn the basics. Facebook strives to connect people that are interested not only in sports but also in TV shows and pop culture content. The first game in the USA and Canada has already appeared on the platform, and there is no information about when it will reach other countries.
