According to a new update to the RPG game's development roadmap on October 28, all updates, and free DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077 have been pushed to 2022. The upgrades as well as some new content were supposed to be available by the end of 2021, but they never arrived.

The reason for the delay is unknown, but in a recent tweet from CD Projekt last week, it was announced that the planned next-gen updates for ''Cyberpunk 2077'' as well as ''The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt'' will be delayed. These games were supposed to be released before the end of the year, but have now been postponed until 2022. The Most recent Cyberpunk update which was released in September restored wet roads. And the much larger 1.3 update, which was released in August added the first batch of free content.

The studio's top priority is unquestionably getting the game onto the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S/X because that's where the money lies. Despite warnings displayed on the stores' website announcing that customers still experience performance issues with the game, Cyberpunk 2077 saw a significant increase in sales when it returned earlier this year after it was removed from the PlayStation store due to some bugs.

According to the new Cyberpunk 2077 roadmaps FAQ, the company intends to release some free DLC packs for the game, similar to what they did for The Witcher 3. Meanwhile, they have decided to focus on important game updates and fixes. The release of the first DLC pack, as well as Patch 1.3, was highlighted. More patches and DLC packs have also been promised. And they promised to reveal much more in the coming months.
