Cat Goes Fishing review
Cat Goes Fishing is the latest free-to-play fishing game/app, and is currently only available on Steam and the Android platform. I downloaded it, and it runs smoothly on my Samsung Galaxy S3. The game/app is heavily geared towards getting you to purchase microtransactions, but the gameplay itself is enjoyable. The gameplay is that of a standard fishing game, you have a bobber, and a line, and you have to cast your line to catch fish. The only difference here is that you are fishing in a tank, and you have to feed your cat the fish you catch. The fish are not realistic, they are cartoon-like, and have funny faces. The graphics are good, and the gameplay is fun. The goal of the game is to catch a certain number of fish, and then you can get a prize, which is usually a different avatar. The gameplay is good, and the controls are easy.
In this game, you have to catch fish, in order to earn money, and use the money to buy more powerful fishing rods, which allow you to catch bigger fish, and in turn, earn more money.
You have to 'feed' the cat before the cat will go fishing. The fish will appear in the morning.
You have to tap on the fish (or you can also use the 'grab' gesture) to throw the fish in the boat. If you tap too soon, you will scare away the fish. If you tap and hold too long, you will scare away the fish. You can catch fish while the cat is not fishing, and you can feed the cat without a fish. You can also buy a fishing license, which allows you to catch all the fish in the lake.
Graphics in this game are 2D and cartoonish, they look cute and nice. Because of this, I think that kids will love this game. The graphics are not photorealistic, but they are nice and cute.
Cat Goes Fishing replayability is not a problem. You can play that game all the time without boring yourself. If you don't believe me, just try it.
This is a good example of a successful game. The only thing that you can do is fishing. But it is more than enough. The game can be played for hours and you won't feel that you are doing the same thing over and over again. It is something that you can play with your friends, kids or colleagues.
